PwC’s Skills for Australia, the SSO responsible for business services, has released a communique prepared on behalf of the Business Services Industry Reference Committee (IRC). It outlines the upcoming review of the BSB Business Services Training Package, which will include over 500 units of competency.
BSB units are included in many qualifications, across various industries. Changes to the BSB units may impact your industry’s training package (i.e. qualifications, skill sets and units). The BSB units that are being reviewed are in the areas of legal service, human resources, audit and compliance, information management, marketing, vocational training, leadership and project management.
Considering the scale and importance of this work, PwC and the Business Services IRC is keen to engage relevant stakeholders in consultation at the early stages, and throughout the duration of the review. They have said there will be many opportunities for interested stakeholders to provide input through various different channels across the life of the streams of work.
