Our Role Establishing Skills Insight JSC

Skills Impact held a Skills Service Organisation (SSO) role between 2016 and 2022. In 2023 we established one of ten Job and Skills Councils (JSCs), after a submission to move into the role was backed by over 200 letters of support from a broad range of industry stakeholders. This new JSC, Skills Insight, has a broader scope to deliver outcomes that support a responsive VET system and a skilled and resilient national workforce. The industry coverage of Skills Insight is similar to our past coverage as a Skills Service Organisation.

You’re invited to provide feedback on the redrafted qualifications, skill sets and units of competency for the following two projects.

Viticulture Project

One qualification, one new unit of competency and 10 revised units of competency have been redrafted following the most recent round of feedback. They will be available on the Skills Impact website for further comment until the 22 February 2019.

Feedback from the last round of consultation has been implemented into the draft qualifications, skill sets and units of competency for the Carbon & Agribusiness Management Project. The documents will be available for further comment until 22 February 2019.

This round of feedback is about checking the documents are logical and factually accurate. We would appreciate your views on whether the final drafts accurately reflect the current industry skills standards, knowledge and practices and whether all job functions are accurately described.
