Skills Impact is investigating opportunities to improve the VET sector and we’re asking for your feedback.
With a wide number of reviews underway from all areas of government, now is the time to have your views heard.
The necessary COVID-19 shutdown will impact the economy and provide opportunities for the VET sector to demonstrate its value if it is able to respond effectively. The system will need to change to support the predicted increase in training.
In our work with IRCs, industry personnel and training providers over the past four years we’ve heard about the challenges you all face and also the significant opportunities you see for improvements to key aspects of learning, training and competency. However, the sort of ideas we are hearing don’t appear to be ‘on the radar’ of VET policy makers – yet.
We have taken some of these ideas for VET system improvement and asked Griffith University to compile a short, anonymous survey to help us test whether the issues are important enough to be on the table of VET policy makers.
Everybody is invited to participate – whether you are an employer, a training provider, a trainer or assessor, a student or graduate, or any other user of the VET system.
Griffith University will analyse the data and report on the findings which will be made publicly available once analysis is complete.
