Our Role Establishing Skills Insight JSC

Skills Impact held a Skills Service Organisation (SSO) role between 2016 and 2022. In 2023 we established one of ten Job and Skills Councils (JSCs), after a submission to move into the role was backed by over 200 letters of support from a broad range of industry stakeholders. This new JSC, Skills Insight, has a broader scope to deliver outcomes that support a responsive VET system and a skilled and resilient national workforce. The industry coverage of Skills Insight is similar to our past coverage as a Skills Service Organisation.

With a background in training package development, stakeholder engagement and communications, Danni is a highly skilled Industry Skills Standards Specialist. Prior to commencing with Skills Impact, Danni worked for an Industry Skills Council where she progressed though various roles, from Information Management Officer to Multimedia & IT Support Officer. Her experience across a range of roles has provided her with specialist knowledge about systems, policies and procedures that are crucial to the training package project management, and the review and development of vocational qualifications, skill sets and units of competency. Danni has a Bachelor of Arts in Writing; Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; Certificate II in Hospitality Operations; InDesign Advanced Level; and has completed short courses in communication, business writing, HTML5 & CSS3 and Microsoft Word.
