Good manufacturing practice (GMP) are an important set of principles that help Australian pharmaceutical companies produce high quality and consistent pharmaceutical goods.
If you have experience in pharmaceutical production processes and are able to describe the skills required for pharmaceutical GMP, your input is invited on draft units of competency that support these skills.
They have been updated to clarify how skills in GMP are demonstrated and to remove references to international standards from one unit, as it is important that these skills standards reflect the skills required to participate in Australian workplaces first and foremost.
Your feedback is needed to check that the units are up to date, accurate and accessible. This will equip the Australian pharmaceutical industry with the skills required to continue to produce safe and effective treatments and vaccines.
