Feedback Sought on Food & Beverage Processing Skills Standards

Increased consumer interest in the origins, contents, and packaging of food are driving the food and beverage processing sector to innovations in traceability, automation, and contaminant control. This has impacted skills needs and job roles in the sector.

Thanks to your feedback, the updated skills required by industry are one step closer to being defined. Your comments have highlighted the need to make further major changes to some qualifications and units, and to develop new skill sets and units in certain skills areas. These revised skills standards are available for your review and feedback, to check whether they meet the needs of industry.
