Our Role Establishing Skills Insight JSC

Skills Impact held a Skills Service Organisation (SSO) role between 2016 and 2022. In 2023 we established one of ten Job and Skills Councils (JSCs), after a submission to move into the role was backed by over 200 letters of support from a broad range of industry stakeholders. This new JSC, Skills Insight, has a broader scope to deliver outcomes that support a responsive VET system and a skilled and resilient national workforce. The industry coverage of Skills Insight is similar to our past coverage as a Skills Service Organisation.

Greyhounds Project Update

The next version of draft units of competency, as well as relevant qualifications and skills sets, will soon be available for industry feedback. Thank you to those who provided feedback on the first draft of units of competency. The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) has considered all feedback when drafting these next versions.

We are still seeking interest in face-to-face workshops for those who would like to provide feedback on the next drafts in person. If you are interested in meeting with us, please register your interest in the project so we can determine the viability of meetings across various locations.

By registering your interest you will also ensure that you are kept up to date of project activities and when draft materials are available for feedback.
