If you have experience in the meat processing industry, you are invited to register for a consultation webinar, to provide feedback on the skills requirements related to safety, quality assurance, and leadership.
These core skills underpin Australia’s meat processing industry and its reputation for high quality meat products. It is important that national qualifications and skills standards support these essential skills.
The webinars are an opportunity to provide feedback on draft qualifications and skills standards that have been revised and developed alongside industry experts.
The drafts will be available for broad industry feedback on the Skills Impact website in late November, to coincide with these webinars. Another newsletter will be sent out to alert those interested once the documents are available for comment.

Training Delivery Webinars
Webinars are also being held specifically for stakeholders interested in discussing training delivery and assessment of the draft skills standards. Please register below.
The qualifications and skills standards are being updated to reflect current job functions, equipment, and terminology, and to support flexible training pathways and remove duplication in the training system.
The project is being managed by Skills Impact working with MINTRAC, under the guidance of the Meat Industry Reference Committee.
