There is still time to validate final draft qualifications, skill sets, and units for a range of job roles across animal care, training, grooming, retail, regulation and animal-assisted services.
With demand for services and products to care for Australian pets growing, and use of assistance animals becoming more widespread, it is important that industry has access to skills standards that are up to date and accessible.
If you are experienced in pet care and animal training, your input is sought to check that the final draft documents accurately describe the foundational knowledge required to train and care for pets and companion animals, as well as the expertise required for specialist roles.
