Susie has lived and worked in Australia, Asia and Europe. Her background is predominantly in the Education sector, where her focus was on curriculum development and implementation. During her years as an international educator Susie was regularly involved in the preparation and presentation of professional development workshops for teachers of international schools. More recently, Susie ran a boutique vineyard, winery and wine bar in country Victoria where she was involved in all aspects of the business – from grape growing and winemaking to marketing and sales. While in this role Susie held the position of secretary for the 12 Apostles Food Artisans group which consists of a variety of local artisanal businesses connected by the 12 Apostles Gourmet Food Trail.
Susie holds a Graduate Diploma in Arts -Tourism Marketing, Policy and Planning; a Diploma in Education; and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and Biochemistry.
